London Studio Photography – Down for the Count
Last year I did the videography for a wedding at Christchurch in Oxford and the reception had Down for the Count playing an amazing mix of jazz, soul, swing and motown.
The band were looking for some updated studio shots with a couple of different looks for their different bands as well as a few portraits for use on their personal sites and of course just for keepsakes as they’re all great friends who’ve (mostly) known each other since school. It wasn’t until the day I realised we’d all mostly gone to the same school although I left the year most of them arrived.
I got a studio sorted and popped down to London to meet them. They were a total hoot to shoot, they got about 400 images out of the day which was amazing but mostly down to them being so easy to direct and such a laugh to work with!
We had planned to try a location shoot afterwards but the weather had other plans .. girls in chiffon dresses and standing around whilst it’s snowing don’t mix well!
